What we collect

When you contact us through this website, we collect the information you provide in the enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number (if given), and message content.

If you become a customer, we collect further information necessary to carry out the work, including your site address, access details, and job or invoicing records.

Why we collect it

Enquiry form submissions: legitimate interest, to respond to your enquiry and provide a quote.
Customer and job records: performance of a contract (the work agreed with you), and compliance with our legal obligations (including tax and accounting record-keeping requirements).

Enquiry form submissions are processed by Netlify, our website hosting and forms provider, in order to deliver them to us. We don't sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Retention periods

Enquiry form submissions that don't turn into a job: 12 months, then deleted.
Job and invoicing records for completed work: 6 years, in line with UK tax record-keeping requirements.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact service@securedoor24.co.uk.
